Why can't I sleep even when I'm exhausted?
It's a common and frustrating pattern. Trouble falling or staying asleep is often tied to things like stress hormones, blood sugar dips overnight, thyroid or hormone shifts, or nutrient gaps. We look at those underlying factors so we're addressing the cause, not just chasing the symptom.
What kind of testing is involved?
It depends on your situation. We may look at stress hormones like cortisol, blood sugar, thyroid and other hormones, and inflammation, then walk through the results with you in plain English.
Will I have to rely on sleep medication?
Our goal is the opposite, to understand why your sleep is disrupted so your body can rest on its own. We work alongside your regular doctor and focus on the nutrition, lifestyle, and root-cause side of healthy sleep.
