You told your doctor how you feel. They ran bloodwork. Everything came back normal, and you left with no answers and still feeling terrible. Here's why that happens, and what we do differently. Last updated June 2026.

You went to your doctor. You told them how you've been feeling. They ran bloodwork. Everything came back "normal." You left with no answers and still feeling terrible.
This happens constantly. And there's a real reason for it.
The reference ranges on standard lab work are built from population averages. If you fall within the range, you're told you're fine. But "average" in a country where most adults have at least one chronic condition is not the same thing as "healthy."
Functional health uses tighter, optimal ranges. We're not asking "do you have a diagnosable disease?" We're asking "is your body functioning at its best?" Those are different questions, and they produce different answers. To be clear, functional health works alongside your regular medical care. It doesn't replace it.
Standard labs check a handful of markers. Functional labs go deeper.
We build a picture, not a snapshot.
We build a plan that's specific to you. Not a protocol. Not a standard handout. Your results, your body, your goals.
That might include targeted supplementation. It might include specific dietary changes. It almost always includes support around sleep, stress, and movement. And you get guidance to follow between visits, so you always know your next step, not just on appointment day.
People who've been told they're fine but don't feel fine.
People who are tired all the time and can't figure out why. Women dealing with hormonal symptoms their doctors keep dismissing. People who've tried everything and haven't gotten answers.
You're not making it up. Something is off. We just have to find it. That's what we do.
